The list of 3D-capable displays and disc players seems to grow every day.
Unfortunately, there’s only one 3D Blu-ray disc available on the market right now, the Monsters vs. Aliens disc packed into the Samsung 3D Starter Pack and sold seperately at a handful of other retailers.
Even some of this year’s biggest 3D blockbusters in theaters, like Avatar and Alice In Wonderland, have been confirmed lacking in 3D Blu-ray releases.
And in light of today’s Blu-ray/Earth Day release of Avatar, this lack of major 3D releases—or any releases for that matter—has left a few of us EH staffers pondering what our dream 3D releases might be. We won’t hold our collective breath (though there always seems to be buzz about how Lucas may work on Star Wars), but in the meantime click here to view a slideshow of our 10 Dream 3D Blu-ray Releases (sequels included).

I just bought the samsung 3d tv and blu ray player, the 3d blue ray of monsters vs aliens came bundled. this really, really will blow your mind. i didn’t think it was like this. the problem, the content, i played de Avatar 2d avatar blue ray disc, and it shows very decent 3d, saying that, i think i can tell you , that 2d blue rays can do the job in the mean while 3d blu rays arrive
Android-controllable stat can be managed at home or away, and it looks great too.
Centralized home control and automation plus boatload of A/V options including dropdown theater screen revitalize 12K-square-foot home.
Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?
Say hello to home control in this high-tech palace, circa 2006.
Wait until this thing pans out before investing in this pipe dream, remember the $1.200.00 HD DVD a few years ago which now is collecting dust in the garage or playing standard DVD’s… The only title out now is still Monsters VS Aliens and after two month plus things aren’t looking too good this year.. The few that was to come out in July have now been pushed back to November, and those are not guarantee then! After the burn with HD vs BlueRay the studio’s are holding back production of these 3d titles until they see how the market in this bad encomy plays out.. Right now sales of the 3d monitors are slow and after discovering they have to purchase a new DVD player and extra glass/movie package most people have slowed to the interest of owning one.. Without content (movie titles) these units and extra’s are worthless and now these monitors being several years old before any reasonable movies, if any, are 2011 or 2012 down the road…. Best bet here is the wait-and-see card to make sure these $3000.00 dust collectors pan-out!!
